CRADLE is in Japan!

After the long-lasting travel restriction of Japan due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the CRADLE project is finally in Japan! The next nine moths will allow an intense and fruitful collaboration with the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA).

Since the beginning of March 2022, the Japanese government has relaxed the entry restrictions. Therefore Dr. Trisolini, in the end of April 2022, joined Professor Tsuda of the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency for a visiting period at the ISAS/JAXA campus in Sagamihara.

The visiting period will last until January 2023, during which novel concept for the exploration and sampling of asteroids will be studied. The research will start from the heritage of the historic JAXA mission Hayabusa2.
